The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger brother, James Middleton, has recently exchanged vows with his beloved partner, Alizé Thévenet.
The joyous occasion took place in Bormes-les-Mimosas, a picturesque village located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Asie, southeast France.
In an Instagram post, James expressed his overwhelming happiness, stating that no words could adequately describe the joy he felt after marrying the love of his life.
Despite facing challenges caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the couple’s determination to wed remained unshaken.
James and Alizé had previously attempted to tie the knot on two separate occasions over the past two years but were compelled to cancel due to lockdown restrictions.
Nevertheless, they persevered, and their dedication paid off as they finally celebrated their union in the presence of close friends and family.
It is believed that James’s sister, Kate, along with her husband Prince William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, were in attendance to share in the couple’s special day.
The support and love from their loved ones undoubtedly added to the joyous atmosphere of the ceremony.
Prior to their wedding, James and Alizé had announced their engagement in 2019, intending to marry in 2020.
However, like countless couples around the world, their plans were put on hold due to the pandemic.
Despite this setback, James eagerly shared the news of their nuptials with his 211,000 Instagram followers, proudly declaring, “Mr and Mrs Middleton.
Yesterday I married the love of my life surrounded by family, friends, and of course, a few dogs, in the beautiful village of Bormes-les-Mimosas.
Words cannot describe how happy I am.”
Just a month before their wedding, the newlyweds had also shared their excitement about purchasing a new home together.
James expressed his delight, stating that the past few months had been a whirlwind as they settled into their countryside abode, with their beloved dogs enjoying their new surroundings.
Although the couple faced disappointment when they had to cancel their wedding plans twice, James remained resilient and optimistic.
Last year, during a romantic getaway in Italy, he took to Instagram to express his love for his bride-to-be.
