The annual Big Fat Quiz, a beloved tradition that combines humor and reflection, was once again hosted by the witty Jimmy Carr.
And this time, he didn’t pull any punches when it came to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
It’s safe to say that they were in for a taste of their own medicine.
The panel for this year’s quiz was a star-studded lineup of comedy royalty, including Mo Gilligan, Rosie Jones, Katherine Ryan, Richard Iod, Mel Jarrock, and Kevin Bridges.
Together, they embarked on dissecting the most memorable, cringe-worthy, and downright absurd moments of 2023.
But let’s get to the juicy part.
Jimmy Carr, known for his cheeky humor, wasted no time in taking a swipe at Harry and Meghan during the news segment.
What’s interesting is that neither the panel nor the audience objected to his joke.
It seems that even society has grown tired of their antics.
To add even more spice to the roast, the legendary Charles Dance was brought in to read an excerpt from Harry’s memoir, specifically the part where he talks about Meghan.
And who better to lend his iconic voice than Morgan Freeman himself?
Talk about dramatic irony at its finest.
Not one to hold back, Jimmy Carr also took aim at the British press for their treatment of Harry.
He didn’t mince words, calling out their attempts to manipulate, gaslight, and control him.
It was a scathing critique that left no room for misinterpretation.
Ouch.
But this isn’t the first time Jimmy Carr has taken a dig at Meghan.
Last year, during an episode of The Last Leg, he shredded her over her so-called feminism.
He even joked about not realizing that Harry’s mother was Princess Diana.
Spoiler alert, anyone?
And the jabs continued.
Jimmy couldn’t resist poking fun at Meghan’s feminism once again, highlighting the irony of her marrying a prince and giving up her job.
The audience response was lukewarm at best, but that didn’t deter Jimmy from repeating the joke to drive his point home.
In an attempt to salvage the situation, fellow guest Judy encouraged applause, while the host, Adam Hills, squirmed in his seat.
But Jimmy Carr wasn’t done yet.
He tackled Harry and Meghan’s plea for privacy head-on, suggesting that if they truly wanted privacy, they shouldn’t have done a documentary for Netflix.
Cue thunderous laughter from the audience.
Bravo to Jimmy Carr for fearlessly calling out the absurdity surrounding Harry and Meghan.
He served up the truth with a side of humor, giving us all a good laugh at the expense of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
When it comes to holding a mirror to society’s favorite couple, Jimmy Carr doesn’t hold back.
And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
