The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance at the Royal Variety Performance on Thursday evening, delighting attendees with their presence.
Kate looked stunning in a long green Jenny Packham gown, while Prince William looked dapper in a smart tuxedo.
As they arrived at the venue, the couple was captured by photographers, but it was an eagle-eyed attendee who noticed their special guests and shared the news on Twitter.
Seated to the left of the Duchess were none other than her parents, Carol and Michael Middleton.
Also accompanying them were Kate’s brother, James, and his newlywed wife, Alice Thevenet.
James and Alice tied the knot in a private ceremony in France back in September.
The Middletons share a close bond with Kate, so it was a heartwarming gesture to have them included in the festivities.
This marked the fourth time that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended this special event.
The Royal Variety Performance took place at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London.
Before taking their seats in the Royal Box, Prince William and Kate graced the red carpet, captivating onlookers with their elegance.
The event is organized in support of the Royal Variety Charity, with Queen Elizabeth II serving as its patron.
Funds raised from the show go towards assisting entertainers across the UK who are facing challenges due to old age, ill health, or difficult circumstances.
This year holds particular significance as it commemorates the centenary of the reigning monarch’s patronage, which began with King George V in 1921.
Although Queen Elizabeth II did not attend the performance, she had a delightful surprise during one of her recent public engagements.
While at Windsor Castle, the 95-year-old monarch had the pleasure of meeting General Sir Nick Carter, the Chief of the Defence Staff.
