Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William made a grand entrance at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on May 27, 2021.
The royal couple had invited NHS workers for a special drive-in cinema screening of the movie “Cruella.”
Adding to the significance of the occasion, the Cambridges arrived in one of Prince Philip’s Land Rovers, which was graciously loaned to them by the Queen.
For this special event, the Duchess chose to wear a stunning full-length tartan coat with intricate gold detailing.
The coat featured a beautiful combination of blue, green, and purple hues, accentuated by a thick belt that elegantly cinched in her waist.
This eye-catching piece is from the renowned British designer Holland Cooper and comes with a hefty price tag of £849.
Described as a classic and timeless wardrobe staple, the Marlborough full-length trench coat is a true investment piece.
Its fitted design flatters any figure, and the double-breasted front and belted waist add to its stylish appeal.
Crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, this coat showcases the perfect blend of style and practicality, using the finest quality tweeds and materials to create a truly exceptional British-made garment.
To complete her ensemble, Kate opted for one of her favorite pairs of heels, which perfectly complemented the green tones in the coat.
These dark green velvet Manolo Blahnik heels, priced at £525, are a staple in the Duchess’s wardrobe.
She has been spotted wearing them on numerous occasions and boasts a large collection in various colors.
When it came to accessories, the Duchess adorned herself with a pair of exquisite earrings on loan from the Queen.
Known as the Dubai-looped Sapphire Demi-Perrol, these earrings were originally gifted to Her Majesty during her 1979 tour of the Gulf states.
The original set included a necklace adorned with diamond loops and alternating loops surrounding large oval sapphires, along with a pair of earrings and a ring, each featuring a large oval sapphire surrounded by diamonds.
As is often the case with jewelry pieces, the Queen made some modifications to the necklace, shortening it and repurposing two spare sapphire loops into a new pair of earrings.
