Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has defied her husband Prince William’s wishes by taking action on an order from King Charles in the midst of the ongoing apartheid controversy.
The King had instructed Kate to reach out to Meghan Markle after her name was mentioned in a Dutch translation of Hope Scooby’s book “Endgames” last year.
This directive came as an attempt to address the escalating rumors and tensions between the two royal women, which threatened to worsen following the book’s revelations.
In a recent report by InTouch Weekly, it was revealed that Kate Middleton personally contacted Meghan Markle to address the lingering issues stemming from the book’s publication, which occurred two years after Meghan’s initial disclosure during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Meghan had previously disclosed that certain senior members of the royal family had expressed concerns about the skin color of her son, Archie, even before his birth.
Last year, the inadvertent disclosure of the names of King Charles and Kate Middleton by Scooby added fuel to the fire.
However, there is no confirmation yet on whether discussions about Archie’s skin color took place between the King and the Princess of Wales prior to his birth.
Following the public scrutiny triggered by the book’s claims, Kate took the initiative to reach out to Meghan in an effort to clear the air, as revealed by an insider.
Notably, it was Charles who compelled Kate to act as a mediator after William declined to intervene.
