Last night, the Princess of Wales delighted royal enthusiasts with her first-ever public curtsy for King Charles.
Hosting her second Together at Christmas concert, which is set to be broadcast on ITV on December 24, the Princess welcomed several senior members of the royal family, including the monarch, at Westminster Abbey.
As the king arrived, Kate, a mother of three, greeted him with a kiss on both cheeks before gracefully performing a low curtsy.
This heartwarming moment sent viewers into a frenzy, with one expressing, “Lovely to see this event and such effortless respect paid to the king and queen.
I’m pleased they were there to support our Princess of Wales.”
Another admirer added, “She curtsies with elegance and confidence, setting an example for everyone.
Kate will make a wonderful future queen.”
In a video clip from the carol service, Charles can be seen warmly greeting Kate, who beams at him while giving him kisses on both cheeks.
Afterwards, she proceeds to offer a respectful curtsy, followed by affectionately rubbing his arm.
Similarly, she extends a familial greeting to Camilla, who appears overjoyed to attend the event.
Charles then goes on to greet his grandchildren, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, showering them with kisses on both cheeks.
Last night, as the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at Westminster Abbey, the British public displayed their deep affection for them.
Despite the ongoing conflict between Harry, Meghan, and the royal family, the crowd maintained a dignified silence.
However, upon seeing William and Kate, cheers erupted from the onlookers, with some shouting, “We love you!”
The couple stood in the cold, graciously greeting the king.
Inside the Abbey, William emphasized the importance of togetherness during the Christmas season.
Kensington Palace stated that the Together at Christmas carol service, which Kate has now hosted twice, was dedicated to the late Queen and the values she embodied throughout her life.
These values include duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion, and support for others.
