King Charles III will be showing his support for Princess Catherine by attending a Christmas carol service.
The British monarch, along with his wife Queen Camilla, will join Princess Catherine and her husband Prince William for the royal carols event, which will take place at Westminster Abbey on December 15.
The festive gathering, organized by Princess Catherine with the backing of the Royal Foundation, aims to bring together members of the royal family, charity staff, community volunteers, frontline workers, military personnel, and more to celebrate the power of human connection.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Buckingham Palace revealed that this year’s carol service is dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the values she exemplified throughout her life.
These values include duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion, and support for others.
The release further stated that the guests invited to the Abbey have been chosen for their inspirational work in helping and caring for those around them, thereby embodying these shared principles.
Princess Catherine hosted her first Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey in 2021 as a tribute to the individuals and organizations across the UK who provided support to their communities during the challenging times of the coronavirus pandemic.
For the occasion, she wore a stunning red Catherine Walker dress adorned with a festive bow detail.
