In a recent revelation by a top royal commentator, it has been disclosed that there is one condition that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must fulfill in order to regain their position within the royal family.
Richard Eden, a renowned commentator, has suggested that if the royals can successfully rehabilitate Sarah Ferguson, then they can certainly extend a warm welcome back to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Despite the couple’s current status as non-working royals and their ongoing criticism of the firm from overseas, Mr. Eden, writing in the Palace Confidential newsletter for Mail Online, points out that the King has a history of forgiving the transgressions of his family members.
For the past 30 years, Fergie had been absent from the Christmas Day Sandringham walkabout, where the other working royals traditionally gather.
However, on Monday, she made a notable appearance alongside the rest of the family, suggesting that there might be a potential path for Harry and Meghan to return, albeit with the passage of time.
Mr. Eden emphasizes in his article that the King’s acceptance of the Duke and Duchess of York indicates that there is indeed a way back for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
It is worth noting, however, that unlike Harry and Meghan, Andrew and Sarah have never launched any attacks against the royal family.
On the contrary, they have always expressed admiration and respect for their relatives.
Furthermore, Mr. Eden highlights that the King has demonstrated his capacity for forgiveness by inviting Sarah, Duchess of York, to join her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and other senior members of the royal family at church in Sandringham.
This gesture is particularly significant considering the fact that Andrew was previously stripped of his royal duties by their late mother, Queen Elizabeth, due to his highly inappropriate association with convicted s** offender Geoffrey Epstein.
The Duke of York is reportedly deeply grateful for the King’s acceptance of him and Sarah, especially in light of the impending publication of court documents that are expected to link him to Epstein and reignite the scandalous controversy.
While Mr. Eden maintains a relatively positive outlook, he cautions that any reconciliation would require Harry and Meghan to acknowledge their ill-advised behavior and issue an apology.
