Lady Louise Windsor, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, made a stunning appearance at the service of Thanksgiving held at St Paul’s Cathedral.
The young royal showcased her impeccable style, donning a cream silk dress by Ghost and a sparkling pink headband by JT Millinery.
This marked her second high-profile appearance in as many days, following her participation in Trooping the Colour.
Accompanied by her parents, Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, as well as her brother James, Viscount Severn, Lady Louise joined other senior members of the royal family including Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the service on Friday morning.
Yesterday, Lady Louise played a prominent role in Trooping the Colour, riding in a carriage alongside her parents and brother during the Queen’s birthday parade.
She later graced the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside Queen Elizabeth.
The teenager shares a special bond with her grandmother and late grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.
In a touching tribute to her family’s history, Lady Louise wore her mother’s Philip Treacy hat from the 2009 Trooping the Colour celebrations to this year’s Platinum Jubilee Trooping.
The 2009 event marked her first appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the rest of the royal family.
By wearing her mother’s hat, Lady Louise pays homage to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and her remarkable 70-year reign on the British throne.
Even before the Thanksgiving service, Lady Louise had already been involved in the unofficial lead-up to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
In May, she showcased her equestrian skills at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, driving her late grandfather Prince Philip’s carriage.
Queen Elizabeth herself was in attendance, cheering on her talented granddaughter.
Lady Louise also took part in the A Gallop Through History performance, displaying her passion for carriage driving, a shared interest with Prince Philip.
Representing Queen Elizabeth at the service in London was her son, Prince Charles, as she was unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
Notably absent from the event was Prince Andrew, who tested positive for coronavirus.
