Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, is set to become the face of the contemporary dynasty and the future of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s alternative royal family.
Currently residing in Montecito, California, the couple has kept their children’s upbringing mostly private.
However, according to Hollywood expert Sandro Manetti, this may change as the children grow older.
Manetti predicts that as Archie and Lilibet mature, the family may relocate to busier areas of the state, such as Los Angeles County, Malibu, or Bel Air.
He speculates that Lilibet, being the only princess ever born in California, could potentially become the most famous person in the state, or even in America.
The titles of the Sussex children have been a subject of debate.
While some expected them to receive prince and princess titles, the official royal family website currently refers to them as Master Archie Harrison and Miss Lilibet Diana.
The final decision on their titles remains uncertain and may depend on the resolution of tensions within the House of Windsor.
Despite stepping away from the royal family, Manetti claims that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are establishing their own alternative royal family in the United States.
They continue to hold titles, even as they pursue their independent path.
The concept of an alternative royal family has been a topic of discussion for some time.
Angela Levin, author of “Harry, Conversations with the Prince,” suggests that Meghan and Harry are attempting to create a more socially aware royal family.
However, their public airing of grievances with the royal family has drawn criticism, with some questioning why they don’t renounce their titles.
In an interview, Harry responded that renouncing their titles would not make a significant difference.
Since leaving the royal family, the couple has made efforts to safeguard their children’s privacy.
However, they did release some home video footage in December 2022, providing a glimpse into their lives in Montecito and their parenting approach.
The footage shows Meghan gardening with the children, Harry sharing his passion for birdwatching with Archie, and Meghan guiding Lilibet as she takes her first steps.
According to Harry, Montecito is their home, and it is where Archie and Lilibet are growing up.
While the couple has returned to the UK on a few occasions, they have only brought their children with them once.
