Bond: Kate Shines alongside Daniel Craig at No Time To Die Premiere
After numerous setbacks caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the highly anticipated final James Bond film starring Daniel Craig had its premiere at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London.
The event was graced by the presence of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who stole the show in a dazzling gold dress as she met the iconic actor, dressed in a striking red blazer and bow tie.
Joining Kate on the red carpet were Prince William, Prince Charles, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
During their encounter, Daniel Craig complimented Kate, saying, “You look jolly lovely,” at the world premiere of No Time To Die.
The film, which marks the 25th installment in the Bond franchise and Craig’s final appearance as the renowned secret agent after a remarkable 15-year tenure, received high praise from both the Royals and the film’s screenwriter, Phoebe Wallerbridge.
In a tweet from the Kensington Royal Twitter account, the Royals expressed their delight in seeing 007 back on the big screens, while Wallerbridge exclaimed, “Wow,” upon meeting the Duchess.
No Time To Die not only showcases the exceptional talent of actors, musicians, directors, and cinematographers but also pays tribute to all those involved in creating this remarkable film.
Kate’s choice of attire for the special occasion was a stunning Jenny Packham dress known as the Cape Effect sequin dress, which unfortunately has already sold out.
The dress originally carried a hefty price tag of £3,893.28 but was reduced to £1,168.35 before going out of stock.
Additionally, Kate adorned herself with elegant earrings from the London-based company Onitar and wore her hair in a neatly swept-up style.
Prince William and Prince Charles looked equally dashing in their tuxedos, with the Duke opting for a luxurious velvet jacket featuring satin lapels and black cashmere slippers by Arthur Sleepers.
The premiere at the Royal Albert Hall was a glittering affair, as noted by Daily Express Royal correspondent Richard Palmer in a tweet, while Rebecca English, the royal editor for the Daily Mail, praised Kate for channeling her inner Bond girl in her gold ensemble.
Social media users and fans of the royal family were captivated by Kate’s red-carpet appearance, with many expressing their admiration for her style and grace.
