Megan, a well-known figure and Taylor Swift’s number one fan, was recently seen enjoying a meal with her agent, Jewel Smalley, at Lookie’s Steakhouse in Montecito, California.
It seems that Megan once again called the paparazzi to capture this moment, allowing them to take close-up photos.
This time, she opted for a sleeveless shirt, which she had previously worn to the Invictus event last year, instead of her usual cashmere coat and scarf.
The weather has certainly taken a turn in just a few days.
During the outing, Megan seemed quite upset, seeking solace in alcohol while demanding security to stand beside her table.
It’s interesting to note that she was not accompanied by her children, Archie and Lilibet.
Perhaps they were already occupied elsewhere.
Currently, the children are in the care of their parents, either being read a bedtime story or happily playing in a park.
They are likely unaware of the commotion surrounding Megan’s activities, except for maybe recalling the strange woman who caused them distress during their last acting job.
When Megan dines out with her husband, Harry, they usually opt for a sushi restaurant, even though he doesn’t particularly enjoy sushi.
However, when Harry is absent, she chooses to visit Lucky’s Steakhouse.
This stark difference in dining preferences may hint at some underlying tension between the couple.
Over the past three days, Megan has managed to create quite a buzz, attending a Taylor Swift concert, showcasing parking lot sticker merchandise, and now having lunch at a steakhouse.
It appears she is making a concerted effort to divert attention from Harry’s recent trip and take advantage of the Wales’ summer break.
However, once William and Catherine resume their duties, Megan’s presence may fade into obscurity.
Interestingly, Markle and Harry have a history with Lucky’s Steakhouse.
When they first moved to Santa Barbara in 2020, the couple enjoyed a date night at the restaurant with their friends Catherine McPhee and David Foster.
They reportedly spent three hours there, savoring the steakhouse’s renowned dishes, including sirloin steak, T-bone steak, filet mignon medallions, house cut porterhouse, New York strip steak, aged prime rib, and the popular cheddar and bacon burger.
It is possible that Megan learned about this establishment from her close friend, Oprah Winfrey, who frequents the spot.
On another occasion, Harry and Megan had a romantic evening at Montecito’s only Michelin-starred restaurant, Sushi Bar.
This intimate space accommodates only ten diners at a time and offers a £109, 17-course omakase tasting menu featuring delicacies such as otoro, kurudai, blue fin tessin, albacore tuna, and scallops.
However, since Harry does not eat fish, he was granted special permission to bring his own £23 steak from Lucky’s, conveniently located nearby.
The waitstaff, including Julian, one of the waiters, were accommodating and understanding of Harry’s request.
Megan, on the other hand, indulged in the full 17-course experience, accompanied by sake.
It seems that Harry and Megan frequent these establishments regularly, but the staff has been instructed not to discuss or mention them.
Photos are also prohibited, ensuring their privacy during their visits.
This arrangement allows them to enjoy their meals without any disturbances or interruptions.
