Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have once again found themselves at the center of controversy, as royal biographer Angela Levin accuses them of being arrogant and ignorant.
The couple recently gave parenting advice to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, despite not having children of their own.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who claim to have two children, Archie and Lilibet, have kept their faces hidden from the public eye.
Nonetheless, they released a statement on their Archwell Foundation website, emphasizing that even the best parenting cannot shield children from the harmful effects of social media.
They called for urgent reform of the online space.
This statement coincided with a Senate hearing where Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel faced tough questions regarding their responsibility for online harm, particularly towards children and teenagers.
However, Angela Levin was quick to criticize Meghan and Harry, labeling their statement as hypocritical and self-serving.
In an interview with GB News, Levin expressed her outrage, stating, “I think it’s absolutely outrageous that they should give advice to anybody about parenting.
They have no kids, they have two little babies who they don’t show to anybody, who they don’t take out, who they don’t seem to have any interaction with anybody else, and yet they’re telling the world how to be good parents.”
Levin also highlighted the irony of Meghan and Harry’s stance.
Despite their history of using social media to promote their own agenda and brand, they now attack these platforms for endangering children, conveniently ignoring their own role in exploiting and manipulating young minds for personal gain.
“They use social media themselves to make a lot of money, to put out their views, to lecture everybody, to criticize everybody, to tell us what to do, and yet they say that social media is ruining the world and ruining children.
Well, they’re a part of that.
They’re part of the problem,” Levin emphasized.
Furthermore, Levin accused Meghan and Harry of being deluded and out of touch with reality.
She suggested that the couple should focus on their own family issues instead of meddling in the affairs of other countries and institutions.
“They seem to think that they are the most important people in the world, that they have the right to tell the Senate what to do, to tell the Queen what to do, to tell Prince Charles what to do, to tell everybody what to do, and they have no idea what’s going on in the real world.
They live in a bubble of their own making, and they are very unhappy in it,” Levin stated.
Levin’s comments echo the sentiments of many royal watchers and critics who are dismayed by Meghan and Harry’s continuous attempts to undermine and attack the royal family, the British media, and the British public.
Despite portraying themselves as victims of racism and sexism, the couple has faced accusations of lying, plagiarizing, stealing, bullying, and manipulating their way to the top.
Furthermore, Meghan and Harry have been criticized for exploiting children and young people for their own benefit, using them as props and pawns in their publicity stunts.
Despite the backlash and damage caused to their reputation and that of the monarchy, the couple shows no signs of stopping their relentless campaign of self-promotion and self-pity.
They have also shown no inclination to listen to advice or feedback from anyone, including Angela Levin, who has been one of their most vocal critics.
