In a bid to alleviate tensions following the release of Omid Scobie’s controversial book, “Game Over,” Duchess Kate reportedly reached out to Meghan Markle to address the brewing conflict.
The Duchess of Cambridge is said to have initiated contact with Meghan Markle to facilitate a resolution in the wake of the book’s publication.
The book, authored by Omid Scobie, stirred up discussions surrounding issues of race after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle disclosed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that certain members of the royal family had expressed concerns regarding the skin color of their son, Archie.
The identities of the individuals within the royal family allegedly involved in the racism scandal have not been disclosed by The Daily Express, opting to maintain anonymity.
Sources have revealed that Duchess Kate engaged in communication with Meghan during the book’s release, as reported by In Touch Weekly.
Upon learning of the claims made in the book, Kate swiftly reached out to Meghan seeking clarification on the matter.
Amidst the escalating tensions, Prince Charles has reportedly urged Kate to act as a mediator after William declined to intervene.
Kate acquiesced to this role, demonstrating her commitment to her duties within the royal family.
The intensifying feud has cast a dark shadow over the monarchy and Charles is determined to mend the growing divide once and for all.
The alleged identities of the individuals implicated in the royal racism controversy were disclosed in the Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s book.
Initially, the author denied revealing these names; however, he later acknowledged that they were included in an early draft.
The Dutch publisher, Xander Witgeevis, attributed the misstep to errors that led to the unwarranted labeling of a member of the royal family as racist.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward, who serves as the editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, remarked on the delay in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announcing the official titles for their children.
This announcement came subsequent to King Charles confirming alterations to the titles of senior royals upon his ascension to the throne in September 2022.
Following Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, Prince William and Kate retained the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales, while Prince Harry and Meghan opted to confer official titles upon Archie and Lilibet.
Additionally, the titles of Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were designated to Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie.
Seward highlighted the intriguing aspect of the six-month delay in Harry and Meghan unveiling their children’s titles, suggesting that they may have awaited Buckingham Palace’s approval before finalizing the announcement.
The couple had the liberty to adopt these titles following the passing of their great-grandmother, but chose to delay the revelation until now, prompting speculation regarding the rationale behind the prolonged wait.
