Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has shared an exciting announcement this Valentine’s Day.

The 39-year-old revealed that she and Prince Harry are expecting their second child, a younger sibling for their son Archie Harrison.

This special news was unveiled on February 14th, 2021, coincidentally echoing a past royal pregnancy announcement.

In 1984, Princess Diana, Harry’s late mother, also chose Valentine’s Day to announce her pregnancy with Prince Harry.

In the recently released Netflix series “Harry and Meghan,” the Duke of Sussex expressed his surprise when he received newspaper front pages featuring his mother’s announcement.

He said, “I was shocked.

He had no idea.

It was just a coincidence or maybe not a coincidence.”

Meghan is known for her personal and heartfelt gestures, especially when it comes to her family.

In the Netflix series, she can be seen creating a special balloon arch for Archie’s birthday and organizing a tea party for their daughter’s first birthday in June 2022.

Additionally, in his memoir “Spare,” Harry revealed that Meghan wrote him a love poem after the birth of their daughter.

Interestingly, Meghan had previously offered advice for single people on Valentine’s Day in a blog post from 2015.

She encouraged individuals to celebrate self-love and indulge in activities such as cooking a beautiful dinner, wearing their favorite outfit, and buying themselves flowers.

Her words emphasized the importance of appreciating oneself rather than focusing on what one lacks.

The couple shared their pregnancy news with their family during Princess Eugenie’s wedding in October 2018.

Harry disclosed that after their own wedding in May 2018, he and Meghan were eager to start a family.

In a previous interview, Harry had mentioned his desire to have a maximum of two children.

Their first child, Archie, was born in May 2019, almost a year after their wedding.

Now, with another baby on the way, Meghan’s big announcement has sparked curiosity and excitement among fans.
