Meghan Markle has reportedly made the decision to exclude her husband, Prince Harry, from her interviews for the time being.
The move is aimed at shifting the spotlight onto herself and the work she is involved in, while also distancing herself from controversies.
Royal expert Neil Sean revealed this claim while discussing Markle’s recent tell-all interview with Variety magazine.
According to a reliable source, it appears that Prince Harry was intentionally left out of the interviews as part of a strategy to reshape Meghan Markle’s public image and how she is perceived by the public.
The new PR team, allegedly, believes that Harry’s presence could be too distracting.
This decision marks a deliberate effort to realign Miss Markle’s personal brand.
Delving further into this latest development, Sean commented on Markle’s Variety interview, suggesting that she is attempting to reaffirm herself as a fun, cheerful, friendly, and down-to-earth person.
However, he also acknowledged that only time will tell if Markle succeeds in selling her newly revamped public image to the people in Britain.
Markle’s interview with Variety raised eyebrows, particularly regarding the way she referred to her husband.
Royal expert Daniela Elsa found it intriguing that Markle refused to call Harry by his name, instead describing him as the “fifth in line to the throne, son of King Charles, and a man whose birth was celebrated with a 41-gun salute,” commonly known as Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.
Elsa noted that Harry seemed to play a peripheral role in his own story, despite the fact that Markle has had two major interviews recently, featuring glamorous photo shoots and designer dresses.
Furthermore, Elsa questioned the whereabouts of Prince Harry, considering that both he and Markle have signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify.
These deals, which would not have been possible without their royal titles, have predominantly showcased Markle’s endeavors.
She has taken the lead with her Spotify series, “Archewell Audio,” although it has not gained much popularity, ranking only 26th and 90th in the US podcast charts.
Even in media appearances together, Markle tends to overshadow Harry.
Elsa concluded that while the Duchess of Sussex may be one of the most famous women in the world, she is also perceived as rather dull.
The hope remains that Prince Harry, regardless of his name, does not share the same sentiment.
