Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, finds herself in yet another embarrassing situation as shocking revelations surface.
According to S.H.C., a renowned celebrity gossip magazine, Lauren Sanchez, girlfriend of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, tricked Markle into leaving a party and flying to a movie premiere in Jamaica.
The motive behind this deceit, as per S.H.C., was Sanchez’s resentment towards Markle’s presence and popularity, viewing her as a rival and a nuisance.
Sanchez, a former TV anchor and helicopter pilot, hosted an extravagant gathering at her Beverly Hills mansion on January 20, 2024.
Among the A-list guests were Tom Cruise, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Elon Musk.
Markle, a friend of both Bezos and Sanchez, arrived uninvited, aiming to mingle with the elite crowd.
Clad in a red sequined dress and a diamond necklace, Markle allegedly attempted to steal the spotlight from Sanchez, who donned a white silk gown and a ruby tiara.
Not only that, but Markle also seized the opportunity to pitch her projects and ideas to Hollywood moguls and stars, who remained unimpressed.
Annoyed and offended by Markle’s behavior, Sanchez devised a plan to rid herself of the Duchess.
She offered Markle a private jet flight to Jamaica, where the premiere of Bob Marley’s biographical film, “One Love,” was scheduled for January 23, 2024.
Claiming personal connections with the movie’s producers and stars, Sanchez convinced Markle that she had secured a special invitation for her and Prince Harry to join her and Bezos on their jet.
Flattered and excited, Markle readily accepted, persuading Harry to accompany her.
However, S.H.C.
reveals that Sanchez never intended to go to Jamaica and had deceived Markle about the invitation.
Sanchez secretly arranged another jet for herself and Bezos, leaving Markle and Harry to fly alone.
She handed them the keys to a cheap and outdated model, bidding them farewell and wishing them a pleasant trip.
Sanchez and Bezos then departed for Hawaii, where they enjoyed a romantic getaway.
Unaware of Sanchez’s deception, Markle and Harry boarded the jet and made their way to Jamaica.
They attended the premiere of “One Love” at the Carib Theatre in Kingston, with Markle stunning in a black spaghetti strap top paired with a Carolina Herrera skirt and Jennifer Meyer earrings.
Harry opted for a suit without a tie for the occasion.
However, upon arrival, they faced coldness and hostility from the movie’s producers and stars, who neither invited nor expected them.
Some Jamaican attendees even booed and heckled the couple, accusing them of disrespecting Jamaican culture and Bob Marley’s legacy.
This incident further adds to the backlash Markle and Harry have been enduring since their decision to step back from their royal duties and relocate to the United States.
The couple felt shocked and humiliated by the realization that they had been tricked and used by Sanchez.
They blamed themselves for being naive and gullible, questioning if leaving the royal family was a mistake that damaged their credibility and global respect.
The Jamaica trap of Markle and Harry ignited a heated debate on social media.
While some expressed sympathy and support for the couple, others mocked and criticized them.
Supporters praised their courage and resilience, defending them against accusations of selfishness and irresponsibility.
They argued that Markle and Harry attended the premiere to honor Bob Marley’s legacy and support a worthy cause.
On the other hand, critics condemned their recklessness and ignorance, asserting that they deserved to be tricked and humiliated.
They also accused the couple of insensitivity and disrespect towards the Jamaican people and their culture, as well as snubbing the king, who happens to be Harry’s father, by attending the premiere alongside anti-royal Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
Markle and Harry have chosen to remain silent regarding the Jamaica incident and have refrained from posting on social media since the premiere.
After spending a few more days in Jamaica, they are expected to return to their California home soon.
