Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made an appearance at the Vancouver Canucks game against the San Jose Sharks on Monday night.
The couple enjoyed the game from a VIP box, accompanied by Meghan’s friend Marcus Anderson.
Earlier, Harry had the honor of dropping the puck, with Thomas Hertel from the San Jose Sharks and Quinn Hughes, the captain of the Vancouver Canucks, by his side.
Among the other notable figures in the VIP box were local indigenous leaders, BC Premier David Eby, and Lana Poffin, the minister of tourism, arts, culture, and sports.
During the game, the Jumbotron showcased Harry’s upcoming Invictus Games, scheduled to take place in Whistler and Vancouver from February 8th to the 16th, 2025.
However, what caught everyone’s attention was a video clip that surfaced, seemingly capturing an instance where Meghan Markle was ignored by Prince Harry.
Observers noted that the couple did not interact much with each other.
While Harry engaged in laughter with those around him, Meghan appeared to share her amusement with the person seated on her right.
Even when the person beside her remained unresponsive, she continued to act as though they were sharing a joke.
At times, she would glance up at the large TV screen, seemingly ensuring that she was visible to all.
This incident raises questions about the state of their relationship.
It seems that Harry hardly acknowledges Meghan anymore, often engrossed in conversations with others while she is left laughing, seemingly disconnected from the conversation.
Once again, they attended an event without their children, continuing the pattern of Meghan attending Hollywood events alone while Harry accompanies her to his engagements.
Notably, Meghan made sure to display her expensive jewelry, including a $30,000 Cartier Just It and Clue necklace and a $250,000 blood diamond pinky ring, capturing more attention than her own children.
Speculation has also arisen regarding the funding for Harry and Meghan’s attendance at the Canucks game.
Was it paid for using funds allocated for the Invictus Games?
This conveniently coincides with the recent scandal involving the firing of the CEO and COO of the Invictus Games organization.
Some fans have pointed out the need to alter the SEO results for Vancouver and the Harry and Meghan vs. Megxit controversy.
It seems that the narrative is shifting away from the scandal surrounding overspending, which includes $30 million of taxpayers’ money, $15 million from the federal government, and $15 million from the provincial government.
Interestingly, this is not the first time a member of the royal family has participated in a Canucks game.
On October 6th, 2002, Queen Elizabeth herself dropped the puck for a game against the Sharks when Marcus Naslund was the captain, accompanied by Wayne Gretzky.
The Sussexes had previously resided in North Sanic on Vancouver Island for three months in 2020, seeking refuge from the Covid-19 pandemic and their departure from British royal life.
According to Harry’s book, “Spare,” the couple had considered settling in British Columbia before ultimately choosing Los Angeles as their current residence, where they live with their two children.
