Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was noticeably absent from the guest list for the Royal Carols Together at Christmas event, hosted by her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, at Westminster Abbey.
This festive special, scheduled to air on ITV1 and Britbox on Christmas Eve, promises captivating musical performances from renowned artists such as Leona Lewis, Ellie Goulding, and other Hollywood celebrities who share a close friendship with Kate.
However, Meghan was left feeling furious and hurt when she discovered that Kate had deliberately excluded her and her husband Prince Harry, who have been residing in Montecito, California.
The snub left Meghan feeling both humiliated and betrayed, particularly considering her efforts to mend fences with the Royal Family after their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
She had hoped for an invitation from Kate or, at the very least, a phone call explaining their exclusion.
Meghan believed that they had put their differences aside following the funeral of Prince Philip and that Kate genuinely wanted to repair their relationship.
Unfortunately, it appears that Kate’s actions were merely a facade for the cameras, as she still harbors resentment towards Meghan for the turmoil she believes she caused within the Royal Family.
Adding to Meghan’s distress was the fact that Kate had extended invitations to some of Meghan’s former friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry, including Priyanka Chopra, James Corden, and Serena Williams, all of whom had attended Meghan and Harry’s wedding in 2018.
Meghan feels deeply betrayed by these individuals, viewing them as hypocrites and opportunists who are solely interested in associating themselves with royalty and seeking publicity.
The Royal Carols Together at Christmas event is organized and supported by Kate’s Royal Foundation, aiming to honor the remarkable efforts of individuals and organizations across the UK who have provided support to their communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event includes a heartfelt introduction from Kate, who looks stunning in a festive red dress, as well as tributes to the late Queen Elizabeth, who passed away in November.
In a teaser clip for the event, Kate invites viewers to tune in and enjoy the carols and performances.
“I hope you can join me for a very special carol service, celebrating the amazing people who have gone above and beyond to support others during this incredibly challenging year,” she says.
Together at Christmas serves as an opportunity to express gratitude and share some festive cheer with everyone who has made a difference.
However, not all Sugars (fans of Meghan Markle) and supporters of Meghan are impressed by Kate’s charitable gesture.
Some have accused her of using the event as a PR stunt to enhance her popularity and image as the future Queen Consort.
They have also pointed out the irony of Kate hosting a carol service for those who have suffered during the pandemic while enjoying a lavish lifestyle and traveling the world with her family.
Meanwhile, Meghan, who has been vocal about her mental health struggles and the racism she faced as a member of the royal family, is allegedly planning a counter-attack against Kate and the entire royal family.
According to sources, she intends to release a new documentary on Netflix, titled “The Truth About The Crown,” which will expose the dark secrets and scandals hidden within the monarchy.
The documentary will feature interviews with Meghan, Harry, and other insiders who will reveal shocking details of what truly occurred behind the palace walls.
Meghan refuses to remain silent and let Kate steal the spotlight while tarnishing her name.
She is prepared to fight back and present her side of the story once and for all.
Meghan firmly believes that the public deserves to know the truth about the crown and how she and Harry were treated.
