Meghan Markle, alongside Prince Harry, made a grand appearance at the inauguration of a new Veterans Center in downtown San Diego.

The couple, who recently confirmed that they had not received any contact from the King regarding his upcoming birthday, visited the United States Navy SEALs for the official opening of the West Coast Warrior Fitness Program, a new training facility.

During their visit, Meghan and Harry had the opportunity to meet with veterans, servicemen and women, as well as their loved ones.

As they arrived, Meghan waved at the small crowd that had gathered to witness the grand opening.

The couple then proceeded to enter the new building for a tour, without stopping to speak to their fans outside.

Meghan looked stunning in a sleek black suit, exuding an air of elegance.

She joined officials for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, flashing a smile as she gestured to the crowd.

However, she seemed eager to gather a small entourage to accompany her inside, asking the scissor woman if they were coming in line.

In contrast, Prince Harry appeared more subdued throughout the event, at times even appearing to frown while listening to official speeches.

As they were thanked for their support, Harry offered a curt thank you, while Meghan continued to beam with joy.

A video captured an awkward moment where Meghan hurriedly pulled Harry along, interrupting a conversation he was having with someone else.

It seemed that no one at the event wanted to interact with her.

Meghan’s eagerness to take control was evident, as she treated the event as if it were her own, constantly trying to move ahead and be in the spotlight.

When they reached the stage, Meghan positioned herself in front of Harry and the others, refusing to stand in line like everyone else.

This action angered former Navy SEAL Tony Deinstee, who had also stood in line.

He criticized Meghan for intentionally placing herself in front of everyone, stating that she lacked class.

Throughout the ceremony, Meghan’s energy levels contrasted with Harry’s, giving the impression that she was in charge.

She seemed to make it her own event, rather than a joint appearance with Harry.

Additionally, Harry was often seen rubbing his hands together and appearing withdrawn, hiding behind Meghan.

Body language expert James noted that Meghan exhibited maternal gestures towards Harry, steering and controlling his actions.

This behavior further emphasized her dominance in the situation.

It seemed that Meghan was unable to let Harry have a conversation on his own, even in non-opportunistic scenarios.

This incident highlights Meghan’s tendency to overshadow Harry and assert her presence.

However, her inability to loosen her grip on him may ultimately hinder her success.

Despite her efforts to command attention, these optics often come at a cost.
