Meghan Markle has received a stern warning not to overshadow King Charles’ coronation by doing anything attention-grabbing for her son Prince Archie’s birthday.
According to royal expert Carol Lieberman, the Duchess of Sussex is likely to seek media attention on the same day as the coronation.
Lieberman believes that Meghan will be tempted to steal some of the spotlight, even if she does it from Montecito instead of London.
A source close to a member of the coronation choir revealed today that Meghan contacted TV choirmaster Gareth Malone, instructing him to organize a choir celebration for Archie’s birthday, similar to Lilibet’s christening.
This move has raised eyebrows, as Meghan could have easily hired a choir in Montecito or Tyler Perry’s choir.
However, Gareth Malone is set to lead the choirs at King Charles’ coronation, and Meghan seems determined to divert attention away from the event.
Rumors suggest that Meghan even promised to hire media personnel and use her title as the Duchess to intimidate Gareth Malone.
However, it is highly unlikely that anyone would turn down the opportunity to perform at a major event in favor of an invisible child’s birthday celebration, especially with an unrecognized Duchess.
Gareth Malone, known for his role in the BAFTA-winning TV series The Choir, has been instrumental in supporting the singers in the coronation choir.
In honor of King Charles III’s crowning, a specially formed coronation choir consisting of 300 voices will perform at Windsor Castle during the high-profile Coronation Concert on Sunday, May 7th.
The concert will take place on the East Lawn of the Royal Residence.
Earlier this year, a search commenced to find the most enthusiastic community and amateur choirs across the UK to form the basis of the coronation choir.
The final selection has been made, and the choir now comprises over 300 amateur singers.
The journey leading up to their performance is documented in the BBC program Sing for the King, which will air on Friday, May 5th, 2023, at 8 o’clock on BBC One.
Amanda Holden, judge of Britain’s Got Talent, Gareth Malone, TV choir master, and Motsi Mabuse, judge of Strictly Come Dancing, will provide guidance to the choir members as they sing together for the first time.
Amanda expressed her excitement, stating that it is a wonderful opportunity for the dedicated singers.
The four celebrities will leverage their expertise to challenge and inspire the choirs, ensuring a flawless performance.
The members of the coronation choir come from diverse backgrounds, including an all-deaf sign performance organization and a traditional male voice choir from Kaifili.
This eclectic mix promises to create a truly unique and captivating musical experience for the audience attending King Charles’ coronation.
