Prince William’s friend also dismissed the possibility of an apology from the Duke of Cornwall to his brother, stating, “What should he apologize for?”

World commentator Kinsley Schofield believes that although Harry and Meghan have been invited, the palace doesn’t want them to be the center of attention.

She suggests that they should stick to discussing the weather, as their tendency to speak out has caused PR nightmares in the past.

This potential absence of Meghan at the coronation is not the first time the Sussexes have avoided official royal engagements.

They did not attend Prince Philip’s funeral last year, clearly indicating their desire for a more independent life outside the royal family.
