A recent incident at the Tre Loon restaurant in Montecito involving Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has sparked quite a buzz in celebrity circles.

The Sussexes were seen enjoying a birthday dinner at the upscale eatery, accompanied by a group of friends, including Meghan’s close confidante, Heather Durack, and her husband, Matt Cohen.

The restaurant’s manager, Michael Kecciazzolina, revealed that things took an unexpected turn when Meghan’s handler insisted on a private table for the royal couple.

According to Kecciazzolina, the handler arrived early for the reservation and made special demands, citing that it was a royal princess’s birthday celebration.

Kecciazzolina admitted that his initial reaction to the handler’s request was one of amusement.

However, as the evening progressed, it became apparent that some staff members failed to recognize Meghan, assuming she was a stylist or a friend of Harry’s due to her low-key attire.

Despite the misunderstanding, Meghan’s displeasure stemmed from feeling overlooked during the dinner.

Waiter Matthew disclosed that the lack of recognition towards Meghan left her feeling neglected, especially since neither she nor Harry were wearing wedding rings, leading to further confusion among the staff.

Nevertheless, the restaurant staff made efforts to accommodate the high-profile guests, despite the last-minute request for a private table.

Tre Loon prides itself on offering an authentic Italian dining experience, featuring a diverse menu that includes dishes like mixed seafood risotto, steak on arugula, and pan-fried veal chop, complemented by a selection of wines and cocktails.

Amidst the commotion, Meghan and Harry appeared to enjoy each other’s company, sharing smiles and laughter throughout the evening.

Meghan looked stunning in a strapless black and white striped dress, paired with chic black sandals and a stylish brown court gear bag, while Harry opted for a more casual look in a blue shirt and light-colored chinos.
