In the wake of rumors surrounding Kate’s friendship with Rose, Meghan Markle has embarked on a new public relations stunt by sharing a staged photo that supposedly proves she has friends.
The Duchess of Sussex, who recently turned 46 on August 4th, posed for a selfie with Cadi Lee, a renowned hairdresser, and author Cleo Wade in the garden of a restaurant.
The photo, posted on Cadi Lee’s Instagram account Highbrow Hippie, shows Meghan beaming while putting her arms around her two friends at the table.
However, keen observers quickly discovered that this photo is not recent.
When compared to Meghan’s recent appearances, her face looks completely different, raising suspicions that it has been photoshopped.
One can’t help but notice the contrast between her hand in this picture and the skeletal, aged-looking hand seen in a recent paparazzi shot.
The hand in the staged photo appears slightly plumper and more radiant, which suggests the use of a beauty filter.
It’s ironic that Meghan’s best attempt at a birthday post involves someone she pays and someone who is relatively unknown to the public.
Furthermore, Meghan is seen wearing a significant amount of jewelry in the photo, despite recent sightings of her without any accessories.
This raises questions about the authenticity of the image and whether it was manipulated to create a more polished appearance.
It’s worth noting that Meghan appears much healthier in this picture, likely taken before her introduction video for a photography friend’s Ted Talk.
Her hair also doesn’t seem to have been retouched prior to the photo.
Cadi Lee, who is believed to have been Meghan’s hair colorist since her move back to California, boasts an impressive list of A-list clients.
The Instagram story featuring the photo was captioned “Belated birthday celebrations with these lovely muses,” mentioning hairstylist Serge Norman, who famously styled Meghan’s locks for her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.
Serge, Cadi, and makeup artist Daniel Martin formed Meghan’s trusted team for her Woman of Vision awards at the Miss Foundation Gala in New York in May.
However, it seems that most of the people in Meghan’s circle are merely paid acquaintances rather than genuine friends.
They serve as props for photo opportunities and public appearances.
In the case of Cadi Lee, she shared an old picture from a previous dinner or lunch date to acknowledge Meghan’s recent birthday.
It’s clear that they did not have a meal together this year, and Cadi failed to remember to post on Meghan’s actual birthday.
This orchestrated display is nothing more than patronizing public relations.
Meghan’s desperate attempts to maintain relevance and gain access to A-listers by using a hairstylist as a conduit is seen by many as tragic.
It raises concerns about the hairstylist’s job security, as Meghan has a history of divulging personal information to the public.
Once Meghan becomes aware of certain details, the world inevitably follows suit.
It’s evident that the new photo of Meghan and her friend is nothing more than a calculated PR move.
This staged photo comes on the heels of reports that Meghan’s previous attempts at socializing, such as hanging out with Portia de Rossi and enjoying a date night at Tre Loon, were unsuccessful.
Earlier sources claimed that Meghan kicked off her birthday celebrations early this year with a night out at the cinema, accompanied by friends including Portia de Rossi, to watch the new Barbie movie in Santa Barbara.
After the film, Meghan and her friends reportedly continued their night out at the luxurious San Ysidro Ranch Hotel, where she happily posed for pictures with a bachelorette party.
