In October 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle embarked on a highly anticipated Commonwealth tour, visiting Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga.
However, recent reports have shed light on Meghan’s alleged disdain for their time in Australia, branding the entire trip as pointless.
According to insiders at Australia House in Sydney, Meghan made quite a fuss about being assigned only one wing at the prestigious Admiralty House, the official residence of the Governor General.
She voiced her dissatisfaction, insisting that they should have the entire house to themselves.
While staying at the magnificent Admiralty House, Meghan’s behavior towards the staff was far from pleasant.
It is claimed that she only showed kindness to those she deemed attractive, while the rest were met with her constant use of vulgar language.
Furthermore, during one of their events, Meghan brought her famous banana bread, which she claimed to have made herself.
However, a member of the staff revealed that they were the ones who actually prepared it.
Meghan had sent them out late at night to gather the ingredients and forced them to make several batches, berating them until they met her specific taste requirements.
The sources also revealed that there was frequent fighting between Harry and Meghan throughout their stay in Australia.
Harry was reportedly upset that Meghan had announced their pregnancy so early, and as a result, they slept in separate bedrooms.
After one particularly heated argument, a staff member attempted to calm the situation by bringing Meghan a cup of tea.
However, she threw it at the staff member, claiming it didn’t taste right.
Lady Cosgrove, who had been informed of this incident, confronted Meghan about her behavior, to which Meghan responded with profanity and a dismissive “don’t you know who I am.”
Interestingly, during their time in Australia, a woman took to social media to express her own negative experiences with Meghan.
She claimed that her husband had interacted more with Prince Harry than she had at Admiralty House, describing Meghan as a “horrible two-faced piece of work.”
According to this individual, Meghan treated people poorly when the cameras were not around, constantly swearing, and leaving Harry to apologize on her behalf.
Another individual, who claimed to work at Australia House, added fuel to the fire by stating that Meghan refused to wear the Akubra hats gifted to them by the governor.
She made a fuss about the hats being made of rabbit pelts, all while she herself wore calf leather shoes.
Even Prince Harry joined in, refusing to wear the hat despite having done so on previous occasions.
This caused Samantha Cohen, Meghan’s royal advisor at the time, to express her desire to leave the tour immediately.
Royal biographer Tom Bauer also weighed in on the matter, stating that while the Sussexes received an ecstatic reception in Australia, their camp was far from content.
Bauer explained that Harry and Meghan were determined to modernize the monarchy and believed that the birth of their mixed-race child would enhance the Commonwealth’s image in the contemporary era.
However, behind closed doors, their headquarters was filled with misery.
Harry would scour social media every night, searching for any snide comments directed at them, which would then lead to both him and Meghan bombarding their staff with demands to remove the criticism.
Bauer further claimed that Harry exacerbated the situation by frequently drawing comparisons between Meghan and his late mother, Princess Diana.
The couple had convinced themselves that the successful trip had bestowed upon them Diana’s magic.
However, their thin-skinned nature and hypersensitivity to criticism only fueled their discontent.
