In a new book titled “Spare,” Prince Harry unveils the full account of Meghan Markle’s infamous bridesmaid dress fitting, shedding light on the explosive row between Meghan and Catherine.
According to the book, Catherine was upset with her daughter’s dress, claiming it was too long and baggy.
Princess Charlotte even cried when she tried it on at home.
This revelation adds fuel to the fire surrounding Megxit.
Last year, royal author Tom Bower, in his book “Revenge,” claimed that Princess Diana and Meghan also disagreed on whether the bridesmaids should wear tights at the wedding.
Meghan was against it, and her stance was supported by her former best friend and another bridesmaid’s mother, Jessica Mulroney.
It seems that Jessica played a significant role in the conflict.
Interestingly, Meghan reportedly compared Ivy, her daughter, favorably against Charlotte.
Ivy was among the few little girls chosen as Meghan’s bridesmaids and even appeared in scenes from Harry and Meghan’s Netflix series.
This comparison may have fueled tensions between Meghan and Catherine.
The rumor mill is once again buzzing with allegations of bullying against Meghan Markle.
An anonymous post claims that a cousin of the poster, who worked for Givenchy, attended the dress fitting.
According to the post, Meghan treated the Givenchy staff poorly and lied about certain aspects.
Meghan allegedly didn’t want her future nephew and niece to be involved in the wedding, but the Queen and Prince Charles intervened since they were financing the event.
Meghan’s behavior towards Princess Charlotte was described as incredibly horrible.
It is said that Meghan had a problem with Charlotte’s appearance, as she arrived at school slightly dirty, like any child her age would.
Meghan even mocked the way Charlotte spoke and referred to her as chubby.
Adding to the complexity of the situation, Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney and her daughter Ivy were also involved in the bullying of Charlotte.
It is alleged that Meghan favored Ivy over Charlotte, which may explain why Ivy didn’t wear a flower crown like the other bridesmaids.
Meghan apparently pitted Charlotte and Ivy against each other and encouraged Ivy to be mean.
As a result of the tension, Charlotte had to be removed from the fittings altogether, and Florence van Kutsem, Harry’s god-daughter and another bridesmaid, had to serve as a template since she and Charlotte were roughly the same size.
This explains why the dress did not fit correctly.
Surprisingly, Harry’s memoir “Spare” makes no mention of Meghan’s estranged best friend Jessica Mulroney.
Previously, Jessica was one of Meghan’s closest friends during her time as an actress in Canada.
Meghan even called Jessica on the night Prince Harry proposed.
However, their relationship seemed to have cooled off in 2020 when Jessica faced backlash for comments she made about white privilege.
Despite the controversy surrounding Jessica, Meghan remained silent, distancing herself from the matter.
Harry, too, has not mentioned Jessica in his book or recent interviews, leaving many wondering about the state of their friendship.
The revelations in Prince Harry’s book provide a deeper understanding of the tensions within the royal family and the dynamics between Meghan Markle and Catherine.
While the truth behind the explosive bridesmaid dress row is now revealed, it remains to be seen how this new information will impact the ongoing discussions surrounding Megxit and the relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family.
