In the 2016 film “Date Us Hamburg,” Meghan Markle shared the screen with actor Christopher Palahar.
Recently, Palahar reminisced about his time working with Markle and revealed some interesting memories.
According to him, they had a fantastic time together during the filming of the movie.
In fact, they would have dinner together every night for three weeks.
Palahar even jokingly called his wife and said, “Meghan and I are going on a fake date night tonight.”
He went on to explain that they only hung out while filming, so those 15 days were special to them.
During their time together, Palahar noticed that Markle was dating someone in Toronto but seemed uninterested in the relationship.
He advised her to enjoy her single life and not jump into another commitment so soon after her divorce.
Although he didn’t mention the person she was dating at the time, it is known that Markle was involved with chef Corey Vitiello during her time in Toronto.
Vitiello was the first man she publicly dated after her divorce from Trevor Engelson in 2013.
However, there were also rumors of Markle being romantically linked to Rory McIlroy after her split from Engelson.
It appears that Palahar’s advice resonated with Markle, as she later texted him to let him know that she was single.
But things took an unexpected turn when Markle met Prince Harry.
In January, she messaged Palahar again, informing him that she had taken his advice and was now single and free to explore new possibilities.
Then, in March, she sent another text, revealing that she had met someone special.
When Palahar asked if she liked him, Markle replied, “I kind of do.”
Of course, that “someone” turned out to be Prince Harry.
According to Tom Bauer, the author of the book “Revenge, Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors,” Markle was actively searching for a new partner before meeting Prince Harry.
Bauer claimed that she wanted someone who could uplift her.
Interestingly, Bauer also mentioned that Markle was still living with Vitiello when she first encountered Prince Harry.
The situation was undoubtedly complicated for Markle, but Bauer’s book sheds light on how they managed their arrangement after she met the royal prince.
By the end of that week, Markle was convinced that her future lay with Harry, and she allegedly ended her relationship with Vitiello, informing him that it was over.
Corey Vitiello played a significant role in introducing Markle to a higher social class.
Through their relationship, Markle gained access to influential circles, including the son of a former Canadian prime minister and the global membership director of the elite private club Soho House, Marcus Anderson.
This newfound social status allowed Markle to transition from being an actress to becoming a prominent socialite.
A source revealed that this change in her social circle enabled her to form connections and network with influential people, including powerful influencer wives.
Surprisingly, it was through this network that Markle met her current best friend, Jessica Mulroney.
Jessica Mulroney, married to Ben Mulroney, the son of former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney, comes from a wealthy family and is the heiress to the famous Canadian shoe line, Brown Shoes Inc. She is a renowned fashion designer who has even created outfits for Sophie Trudeau, the wife of the Canadian prime minister.
In essence, she is a highly affluent socialite.
