Royal expert Peter Lloyd suggests a possible upheaval in the British Royal Family as Meghan Markle could stir up jealousy if Prince William becomes King and Kate Middleton assumes the role of Queen.

Lloyd proposes that, given the recent health scares of 75-year-old King Charles, he should contemplate abdicating in favor of his eldest son, William.

This notion arises after the Danish King’s decision to step down was met with public approval in Denmark.

Lloyd argues that King Charles should seriously consider relinquishing his position due to his current health condition.

Speaking to GB News, he states, “I think King Charles should abdicate, and I think Prince William should take over because I would love to see Harry and Meghan’s reaction.”

He goes on to predict that their response would be one of wild jealousy.

Consequently, Kate Middleton would ascend to the throne as Queen.

Regarding the King’s current engagements, Lloyd notes that he carries out approximately three or four times more duties than William.

However, the King is currently recuperating at home after a hospital stay for treatment of an enlarged prostate.

Accompanied by the Queen, he was seen leaving the hospital, preparing for some private recovery time.

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales have temporarily stepped away from their official duties.

This decision allows Prince William to care for Princess Kate and their children while she recovers from significant surgery.

The Royal couple is taking a break from their public obligations to prioritize Kate’s well-being.
