Meghan and Prince Harry’s hopes of a surprising return to the royal family have been dubbed a fairytale following a public snub on Meghan’s birthday.
Royal expert Eric Schiffer believes that the absence of any well wishes from the royal family is evidence of the deep divide between Meghan and the royals.
The emotional pain experienced by the royal family due to the actions of the Sussexes seems to have a lasting effect, making a possible return to the royal fold seem like nothing more than a fairytale.
In previous years, even after the couple’s departure from the royal family in 2020, Meghan would still receive birthday greetings.
However, this year, sources report that despite their strained relationship, Harry and Meghan are offering to rent an apartment at Kensington Palace and furnish it themselves.
It is believed that they hope this gesture will please William and demonstrate their seriousness about returning.
By portraying themselves as innocent parties extending an olive branch, they aim to make William appear cruel if he rejects their offer and thus position themselves as victims.
Their ultimate goal seems to be to destroy William and Catherine, while amassing wealth and power for themselves.
There have been concerns about security and privacy regarding the proximity of the Sussexes to the Wales family.
If they were to reside at Frogmore, the close proximity of Adelaide Cottage would raise security and privacy concerns.
Additionally, it was recently revealed that MI6 sent a warning message to William and Catherine about a potential threat from Meghan and Harry.
Returning to Kensington Palace would give the Sussexes the proximity and status they need to leak information against the royal family, lay low, strategize, and potentially influence the children when they come of age, using the same tactics they employed against William and Catherine.
This is the driving force behind Harry’s desire to return; his animosity towards his brother is so intense that he cannot bear to witness a happy family.
Harry aims to influence William’s children to turn against their parents if he is allowed near them.
However, William and Catherine are astute enough to realize this and will not allow Harry access to their kids.
That is the long game.
Harry has already expressed concerns about William’s children, stating in a Telegraph interview that he worries about them.
In response, William reportedly made it clear that his children are not Harry’s concern, even going as far as telling him to back off.
It is worth noting that if William were ever to question Harry’s parenting, it would be widely reported.
So, what gives Harry the right to comment on how his brother raises George, Charlotte, and Louis?
He is no expert in parenting, with his alleged children being four and two years old, while William’s children are ten, eight, and five.
Clearly, William has more experience in this matter.
It is known that Harry had minimal involvement in the early years of George, Charlotte, and Louis, based on what has been publicly disclosed.
While the older children may have memories of their uncle, Lewis was only a year old when his uncle and aunt left with his cousin Archie.
The Sussexes have distanced themselves so much from the royal family that a return seems highly unlikely.
Perhaps, after a divorce, Harry may rehabilitate his public image through involvement in remote conservation projects and offer a public apology.
Only then, and maybe, will he be allowed to attend family events.
Meghan, on the other hand, will never set foot in a royal residence again.
