Mike Tindall, the former rugby star and husband of Zara Tindall, was spotted enjoying a night out without his wife on Thursday.
Known for their love of partying together, Mike decided to have a blast on his own at a Christmas bash.
Taking to his Instagram story, he shared a snap of himself in a maroon suit, complete with a Christmas pudding hat, posing with friends in front of a dazzling gold photo wall.
The 45-year-old wasn’t alone at the event, as he rubbed shoulders with celebrities like actors James McAvoy and James Nesbitt, as well as former Love Island contestant Amy Hart.
Reports suggest that an auction took place during the evening, with proceeds going to DeLaglio Rugby Works and Cure Parkinson’s.
The latter organization holds a special place in Mike’s heart, as his father has been battling the disease since 2003.
In fact, Mike has been a patron of Cure Parkinson’s since 2018.
Although Zara didn’t accompany him to the event, the couple is said to be gearing up to celebrate Christmas with their three children, Lena (9), Mia (4), and Lucas (2).
Whether they will join the rest of the royals at Sandringham this year remains uncertain.
According to Hello’s royal correspondent, Danielle Stacey, Mike and Zara don’t participate in full-time royal duties, so their Christmas plans tend to vary.
Like many families, they likely alternate their celebrations to spend time with both sides of their families.
It’s worth noting that Mike shares a particularly close bond with his parents, Philip and Linda.
While Mia and Lena joined their parents for church on Christmas Day last year, it’s unlikely that we’ll see Lucas at the service for a few more years, given his young age.
As we eagerly await more updates on the Tindalls’ festive plans, we can’t help but appreciate Mike’s ability to have a great time on his own.
With or without Zara by his side, it seems that he knows how to make the most of any occasion.
