Prince Harry’s request to prevent Netflix from depicting him in their upcoming series “Can’t Stop” has fallen on deaf ears.
According to royal biographer Angela Levin, the streaming giant pays no attention to the Duke of Sussex’s objections.
The latest season of The Crown will feature a young Prince Harry alongside his late mother Princess Diana and brother Prince William.
In a conversation with Nana Akua on GB News, Levin shared her experience of meeting Prince Harry, where he expressed his disapproval of being portrayed in the show.
However, it seems that Netflix is determined to go ahead with their depiction of him as a mischievous character.
Levin revealed, “And although he’s had loads of business deals with the people there, they take no notice of him whatsoever.
They’re going to do that.
They’re putting him in as a little boy who drinks, smokes, hates his brother, and is a rascal.
He wanted to join the boys who were naughty at Eton, and he did, but I think it’s very horrible to actually see yourself like that.”
Despite his initial reluctance, Prince Harry eventually signed a deal with Netflix, influenced by his wife Meghan Markle.
Their collaboration with the streaming service even includes a request to recreate Princess Diana’s tragic death in The Crown.
It appears that money has swayed Prince Harry’s decisions, as he is unable to oppose Meghan’s choices.
This narrative of him being a victim is merely a cover for his own self-interest and laziness, as he neglects meaningful charity work.
What raises concern is the grotesque exploitation of his supposed trauma and the way he seems to disregard his brother, Prince William.
Prince Harry’s continuous use of his mother’s death as a means to gain sympathy is disheartening.
As a child, the world sympathized with him, but he seems to have never outgrown that role.
As long as his tactics work, he sees no reason to change.
In a separate development, it has been reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are feeling angry and isolated due to the increasing popularity of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, in the United States.
Royal expert Sarah Hewson stated that recent polls indicate a growing fan base for Prince William in America, and Princess Kate appears to be viewed as a future queen.
This news comes despite Harry’s shocking revelations and the announcement of his upcoming memoir.
Sarah Hewson explained, “Before the new polls, Kate and William were very concerned about how the American public might respond to Harry’s revelations.
But it looks from the polling like they’re siding with Kate and William.”
The couple’s rising popularity in the US adds to Harry and Meghan’s frustration and sense of isolation.
