Meghan, the founder of The Moody Blues, has once again found herself at the center of controversy.
On the same day that Denny Layne, co-founder of The Moody Blues and Wings, passed away, Meghan staged a paparazzi walk, showing a lack of respect and empathy for others.
Layne, a legendary musician who worked closely with Paul McCartney, died at the age of 79 after battling interstitial lung disease.
During their time together in Wings, Layne and McCartney produced numerous hits, including “Band on the Run,” “Live and Let Die,” and “Silly Love Songs.”
Instead of paying tribute to Layne or expressing condolences to his family and fans, Meghan chose to go on a hike with her friends in Montecito, California.
She conveniently walked in front of photographers who were waiting for her, smiling and waving at the cameras as if it were a normal day out.
Meghan did not stop to pose or answer any questions; she quickly got into her SUV and drove away.
Critics, including former TV host Meghan Kelly, accused Meghan of purposely calling the paparazzi to take these photos as a message to the royal family.
Kelly tweeted, “Show some respect,” and shared a video alleging Meghan’s car chase with the paparazzi, claiming it was yet another publicity stunt.
However, the photographer, Clint Brewer, who captured the images, denied any staging and expressed his wish that they were staged to make his job easier.
Brewer even posted a screenshot of Meghan and Kelly with a comment stating, “I wish these were staged, would make my job easier,” accompanied by a laughing emoji.
Despite Brewer’s statement, many people remain unconvinced, believing that Meghan orchestrated this paparazzi walk to divert attention from the royal family and Layne’s passing.
They argue that Meghan has a history of manipulating the media and using her friends to leak stories to the press.
Additionally, they highlight her personal grudge against McCartney, who allegedly snubbed her and Harry at a party in 2019.
In contrast, some of Meghan’s fans defended her actions, asserting that she has the right to live her life as she pleases and is not responsible for Layne’s death or any royal events.
They argue that Meghan was simply enjoying a hike with her friends and that it was the paparazzi who invaded her privacy by following her.
Furthermore, they claim that Meghan holds no animosity towards McCartney or Layne and is actually a fan of their music.
Whether Meghan’s paparazzi walk was staged or not, it is evident that she has once again stirred controversy and anger among many people who view her as disrespectful and attention-seeking.
Her disregard for Denny Layne’s passing, a significant loss for the music industry and the world, has further fueled the debate.
Layne deserves to be remembered and honored for his talent and legacy, rather than overshadowed by Meghan’s actions.
This incident is just another chapter in Meghan’s ongoing battle with the media and the public, which has intensified since she and Harry stepped away from the royal family in 2020.
The couple, now residing in a $14 million mansion in California, have faced accusations of hypocrisy, selfishness, and ingratitude from their critics.
Many also hold them responsible for causing a rift within the monarchy.
On the other hand, Meghan and Harry maintain that they are victims of racism, sexism, and media harassment, asserting their fight for freedom and happiness.
