A petition has been launched to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their Sussex titles, garnering over 90,000 signatures.

The former private secretary of Lady C Reville initiated the petition, expressing concerns about the impact of Omid Scobie’s latest book, “Endgame,” on the Duke of Sussex.

The book, which contains explosive claims about the royal family, has been criticized for its potential to sow further distrust and damage Prince Harry’s reputation.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, speaking to the Daily Star, highlighted the negative implications of Scobie’s book.

Despite the couple distancing themselves from the claims made in the book, Fitzwilliams argued that it still served as a handbook for the Sussex squad, leaving a lasting impact on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

He further stated that the release of the book coincided with a glimmer of hope for reconciliation between Prince Harry and his father, Prince Charles.

However, the shocking nature of the claims makes it unlikely for mutual trust to be restored.

In a surprising revelation, Lady Colin Campbell disclosed that she was approached by a former private secretary to start the petition to strip the Sussex title.

In her recent video, Lady Sears shared a link to the Change.org petition, urging the public to pressure Harry and Meghan to voluntarily forfeit their titles.

The petition has gained significant traction, surpassing 90,000 signatures.

Lady Sears voiced her concerns about the damage caused not only to the royal family but also to the public image of the United Kingdom as a whole.

While acknowledging that the petition might not directly lead to the loss of titles, she emphasized the need to exert pressure on the government and the wider establishment to address the issue.

Lady Sears described the accusations in “Endgame” as outrageous and expressed her belief that Harry and Meghan have betrayed the monarchy, the country, and the Commonwealth.

During an interview with GB News, Lady Sears revealed that she was approached nearly two years ago to initiate the petition.

Although initially hesitant due to the dangerous precedent it could set, Lady Sears now supports the petition.

She believes that if the royal family fails to take action, parliament should intervene, as there is a growing sentiment that Harry and Meghan have betrayed the interests of the monarchy and the nation.

Lady Sears also claimed that Meghan orchestrated the book’s content without Harry’s knowledge, leading to turmoil in Montecito.

As time passes and Prince William and eventually Prince George ascend the throne, Harry and Meghan’s relevance will diminish.

They are likely to be mentioned scarcely in the history books, as they become increasingly insignificant figures.
