Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has openly challenged the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to a sit-down interview.

In a recent episode of Spencer Matthews’ Big Fish podcast, Morgan expressed his desire for a face-to-face showdown with the couple.

Known for his outspoken criticism of the Sussexes, Morgan has been a vocal critic since their bombshell claims in interviews, docuseries, and Prince Harry’s book Spare.

During the podcast, Morgan made a brutal dig at Prince Harry, describing him as “completely deluded” and “very manipulative.”

He also remarked that both Harry and Meghan are equally at fault.

However, a source close to the Sussexes revealed that they have no intention of engaging in a new war with the host, as it would not yield any positive outcomes and could potentially harm the show’s ratings.

Morgan’s criticism of the Sussexes dates back to their initial public accusations against the royal family.

His denouncement of Meghan’s mental health claims on Good Morning Britain led to widespread backlash and calls for his departure from the show.

On March 9th, 2021, after a heated exchange with co-star Alex Beresford, Morgan dramatically stormed off the set, resulting in his resignation from the show.

ITV confirmed Morgan’s departure in a statement, saying, “Following discussions, ITV and Piers Morgan have decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.

ITV has accepted the decision, nothing further to add.”

The incident that triggered Morgan’s resignation was Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which she accused the royal family of racism.

An ITV source revealed that Morgan was asked to apologize but refused, leading him to inform producers that he would no longer host the show.

Despite Morgan’s challenge, it seems that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have no interest in participating in a tell-all interview with him.

The couple has made it clear that they have no intention of engaging in any new conflicts with the former Good Morning Britain host.
