Prince Edward, in a recent interview, shared his thoughts on Catherine after her first year of royal engagements, revealing a heartfelt admiration for her.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who joined the royal family over a decade ago, has come a long way in her journey.

Initially perceived as too formal and stuffy, both she and Prince William have gradually won over the hearts of the British public.

Duncan Larcombe, author of “Prince Harry, The Inside Story,” described Kate as a perfect fit for the role and highly relatable to the British public.

Over the past ten years since their royal wedding, the public’s perception of the Cambridges has shifted significantly.

Larcombe explained, “When she first became a Duchess, she and William were thought by some to be too formal, as though they were trying too hard, but I would say we’re now seeing a complete transformation.

It’s been very gradual, but Kate has developed a unique style of her own.”

While the early days of their romance were marked by struggles with constant media attention, Prince Edward affirmed that the entire royal family was delighted with Kate right from the start.

In 2012, the Earl of Wessex expressed his satisfaction, saying, “Catherine is doing very well.

She has taken to royal life like a duck to water.

She’s very gracious, and the family is very proud of her.”

However, it was never going to be an easy journey for Catherine, as the whole world watched her every move.

Nevertheless, she has handled it with grace, and Prince Edward believes that her confidence will only continue to grow now that her first official engagements are behind her.

Although the royals were excited about Kate’s success, they were determined to protect her and allow her to flourish in her new royal life.

Prince Edward acknowledged this protective stance, stating, “My mother and father are understandably very protective of her.

William has grown up with the attention, but Catherine hasn’t.

But she’s dealing with it very well, and the family supports her as much as we can.

I think William and Harry, as well as my brother, have tried their best to make her transition into public life as gentle as possible.”

Prince Edward also expressed the family’s joy at finding the perfect match for the future king.
