As summer approaches, the royal family is facing a significant decision regarding Prince George’s education.
The young prince, who will celebrate his 11th birthday this summer, currently attends Lambrook School in Berkshire alongside his siblings, Princess Charlotte, aged 9, and Prince Louis, who is just 6.
However, unlike traditional state schools that cater to children until they are 11 or 6, Lambrook operates on a different timeline, only accepting students at ages 8 or 13.
This means that George has two more years left at his current school before he transitions to secondary education.
With this timeframe in mind, speculation is heating up about where Prince George might continue his studies.
Kensington Palace has remained tight-lipped about their plans, but insights from royal experts suggest a few strong possibilities.
Ingrid Seward, the editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, weighed in on the situation, noting that the royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have the luxury of time when it comes to selecting George’s next school.
Seward pointed out that the couple can explore various options without the pressure of making an immediate decision.
“They’ll have their choice of schools, and they can look at as many schools as they like,” she remarked, highlighting the advantages that come with being part of the royal family.
Unlike many parents, they won’t be rushed into a choice, allowing them to consider all available options thoroughly.
The royal family has a rich history of attending prestigious educational institutions.
Eton College in Windsor, Marlborough College in Wiltshire, and Gordonstoun in Scotland are just a few of the notable schools that have educated generations of royals.
