In the world of royalty, the bond between family members is cherished, and this is no different for the prince and princess of Wales’ three children.
Among them, Prince George has captured the hearts of royal fans worldwide with his charming personality.
Notably, George shares a tight bond with his siblings and cousins, including Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex.
Despite their significant age difference, Lady Louise has often displayed her nurturing side towards the youngest royals.
This was evident during Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank, where George, Charlotte, and Lady Louise played important roles.
Charlotte served as a flower girl, while George took on the role of a page boy.
Lady Louise, on the other hand, acted as a special attendant, ensuring the smooth progress of the bridal party up the steps of St. George’s Chapel.
A recently unearthed royal wedding clip captured a heartwarming moment between Lady Louise and George.
In the footage, William and Catherine’s eldest child can be seen seeking guidance from Lady Louise and reaching out his hand.
With Lady Louise’s assistance, the young bridal party made their way up the chapel steps.
Meanwhile, Charlotte can be observed holding the skirt of her dress.
During the wedding, Lady Louise wore a blue dress with a matching hat, while George donned blue trousers and a white shirt with blue lining.
Charlotte, on the other hand, wore a white dress with a green patterned lining around the waist.
This wasn’t Lady Louise’s first experience in a royal wedding; she previously played a starring role as one of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s bridesmaids during their nuptials in April 2011.
Currently studying English at the University of St. Andrews, Lady Louise follows in the footsteps of her grandparents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, who also attended the same university in the early 2000s.
Although her mother has stated that her future plans do not involve royal duties, circumstances may change as Lady Louise grows older.
With only four working royals under the age of 70, the possibility of Lady Louise stepping up to assist Prince George in his future royal duties has been suggested.
This scenario was initially speculated as a potential issue for Prince George, who is currently second in line to the throne.
However, it seems unlikely that the same can be said for Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Lady Louise’s mother, Sophie, has previously discussed her daughter’s education, expressing her hope that she will attend university but emphasizing that there is no pressure on her to do so.
In an interview with the BBC, Sophie also highlighted the importance of allowing Louise to live her own life while ensuring her protection.
Sophie revealed that Louise does not have a presence on social media, and like any parent, she experiences the usual worries for her children.
Thanks to her close relationship with the Wales children, Lady Louise and her brother are once again in the spotlight.
According to a source, the late Queen adored the fact that Louise and James enjoyed their time at Balmoral.
Louise, in particular, seemed to have become her favorite grandchild, closely followed by James.
During their stay, Louise took care of William and Catherine’s children, showcasing her artistic skills by encouraging Charlotte to draw pictures of rabbits and deer.
The Queen even allowed Louise to peruse some of Queen Victoria’s Highlands sketches, which are kept at Balmoral but are rarely seen nowadays.
As the grandchildren undoubtedly miss their grandmother, the family resides at Bagshot Park near Windsor and spends most weekends horseback riding at Windsor Castle.
However, it remains uncertain when they will all be able to gather together again due to current circumstances.
