The animal of choice for Prince George has finally been unveiled, and it’s not the typical creature one would expect.

The Royal Family is known for their love of animals, from Queen Elizabeth’s fondness for corgis to horses, but it seems that Prince George has a rather surprising favorite – snakes.

During a visit to Northern Ireland in 2021, Prince William and Princess Kate visited a petting zoo at Ulster University’s Magee campus, where the revelation about Prince George’s fascination with snakes came to light.

While at the petting zoo, Prince William had the opportunity to handle a snake and couldn’t help but express his regret that Prince George wasn’t there to experience it.

The young prince’s absence was deeply felt, knowing how much he would have enjoyed the encounter.

Princess Kate, on the other hand, was photographed delicately holding a black tarantula named Charlotte, sparking curiosity about the insect’s namesake, possibly inspired by their daughter, Princess Charlotte.

During their visit, the royal couple also observed chickens in cages, prompting Kate to reflect on the therapeutic comfort animals have provided during challenging times, particularly throughout the lockdown.

Although Princess Charlotte wasn’t present during her mother’s interaction with the tarantula, it was revealed that she, too, shares a love for eight-legged creatures.
