Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be joining the royal family for their Christmas celebrations this year, according to reports.
The couple has allegedly been frozen out of the festivities due to Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir and their Netflix docuseries.
It seems that the content of Prince Harry’s book is expected to be highly offensive to several members of the royal family, including Charles, Camilla, and William.
Advanced copies of the memoir will not be sent to the family, as the publishers want to keep it under wraps.
The source also mentioned that the consecutive projects undertaken by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have raised eyebrows within the royal family.
As a result, the palace has gently suggested that the couple spend Christmas in Montecito, 6,000 miles away, and enjoy their tofu turkey there.
Although Harry and Meghan may try to dress it up as their own decision, it is clear that they have been snubbed by the royal family.
This banishment from Christmas festivities is a significant blow to both of them.
There was a brief moment when it seemed like Prince Harry might reconcile with some of his relatives, including his brother Prince William, during the time of the Queen’s death in September.
However, the Windsor walkabout, where the “Fab Four” appeared together, did not mend their fractured relationships.
In fact, according to a royal source, Harry and Meghan’s relationships with the rest of the royal family are now at an all-time low.
This year, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, will host a Christmas Carol service at Westminster Abbey in memory of the late Queen.
The Royal Foundation will support the service and acknowledge the selflessness of the entire country’s public.
The Prince and Princess of Wales took to Twitter to invite the public to join them at Westminster Abbey, continuing their tradition from the previous year.
The event will feature a special performance by the Princess herself, accompanying singer Tom Walker on the piano.
The Christmas Carol service, scheduled for December 15th, will serve as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and highlight the impact of human connections.
Instead of a traditional written message, the royal couple opted for a creative approach by posting a video of Westminster Abbey being artistically sketched.
The short clip showcases a hand meticulously drawing a beautiful representation of the historic London Cathedral, accompanied by seasonal music.
Guests from all over the UK, including members of the royal family, community project participants, armed forces, emergency responders, and charity workers, have been invited to attend the service.
The audience will also include individuals who have collaborated with the Princess of Wales and the Royal Foundation.
The service aims to incorporate both modern and traditional elements, appealing to people from all walks of life.
In 2021, the younger generation of the royal family, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara Tindall, as well as Catherine’s siblings and parents, attended the concert.
This year’s service will continue to celebrate the joy that human connections bring and acknowledge the collective effort of individuals coming together to support one another.
