Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were recently seen in Atlanta after returning from a romantic weekend getaway in the Caribbean.
The couple, known as the Sussexes, arrived in the city on a private flight on Monday, following their brief holiday to the tiny island of Canoeon in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Backgrid, a media agency, captured photos of their arrival, showing them disembarking the plane and being greeted by staff and US Customs and Border Patrol agents.
Meghan appeared somewhat awkward and graceless as she stepped off the plane.
She was dressed in a black long-sleeve maxi dress, bronze slip-on sandals, and a blue scarf.
With dark sunglasses and her hair tied back in a messy bun, she carried a souvenir tote bag with the words “Cream of the Islands” and held onto a sun hat.
Meanwhile, Harry looked relaxed in a white polo shirt, olive pants, and shoes, completing his post-holiday look with a black cap.
Interestingly, their two young children were not seen accompanying them on this trip.
It seems they did not join their parents for the Caribbean getaway.
Speculation has arisen that the couple might be trying to reconnect with Tyler Perry, a famous filmmaker, in Atlanta and possibly seeking his support once again.
However, a Redditor pointed out that the private jet they arrived on does not belong to Tyler Perry.
Apparently, it wasn’t one of his two $125 million or $150 million jets, as those have white noses, unlike the grey-nosed jet they flew in on.
The photo was taken at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, which is known as the second busiest airport in the world.
Tyler Perry usually keeps his largest and most prestigious jets at Cobb County International Airport, not Hartsfield-Jackson.
He receives tax breaks for doing so, although this has led to cuts in funding for local non-profits.
However, Perry does use Hartsfield-Jackson for some of his other jets to maintain privacy and offset negative publicity.
It is worth noting that if this were one of Tyler’s jets, they likely would have used Cobb County International Airport, where Perry has 10 dedicated staff members to serve him.
It seems that Tyler Perry has distanced himself from the couple after witnessing the christening of a child who was not believed to be Lillibet, the Sussexes’ daughter.
Therefore, it is clear that the jet they arrived on does not belong to Perry.
Despite Prince Harry’s past statements about the urgency of addressing environmental issues, the couple’s actions raise questions about their commitment to sustainability.
Charles Ray, a commentator on GB News, criticized them for preaching about making a change in the environment while employing a convoy of seven cars filled with security personnel during their visit to New York City.
Ray called their actions “ridiculous,” highlighting a previous incident in May where the couple claimed to have been involved in an almost catastrophic car chase, which turned out to be untrue.
He pointed out the irony of their environmental advocacy while requiring such a large security detail for a short distance of just 200 feet.
In contrast, he mentioned the Prince and Princess of Wales attending a similar event in Birmingham without the need for a seven-car convoy.
The Sussexes’ recent travels seem to contradict their professed dedication to environmental causes.
While their actions may raise eyebrows, it remains to be seen how they will address these concerns and reconcile their public image with their choices in the future.
