Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly disappointed that they will not be allowed to stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during King Charles’ coronation next month.
It has been revealed that King Charles has decided to have only working royals accompany him on his special day, and since Harry and Meghan have not been considered full-time working royals for the past three years, they have been excluded.
Some royalists argue that there is no valid reason for them to be present.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to hold a different view, according to a royal expert.
Royal biographer Angela Levin recently disclosed that Harry and Meghan have presented the palace with a list of demands, which are unlikely to be met.
One of their demands is to be present on the balcony during this intimate family moment.
However, this claim has been met with skepticism, as it seems contradictory to their other demand.
They also insist on being on the balcony with their children and have requested an apology beforehand.
Unfortunately for them, none of these demands have been successful, and it appears that they will not be present at the coronation.
It is believed that they are furious about this outcome.
An anonymous source on Reddit, known as SecondhandCoke, revealed that Harry and Meghan had a heated argument regarding the coronation.
Allegedly, Harry wants to attend his father’s coronation and wishes for Meghan to accompany him for appearances and historical purposes.
However, Meghan has not given him a definitive answer.
She vacillates between agreeing to go and then refusing, claiming that he has humiliated her.
At this point, she has given him permission to attend alone, but then changes her mind.
Their relationship is strained, with Meghan seemingly in control while Harry is angry, confused, and dependent on drugs.
Despite their issues, Harry still responds to her calls.
As of now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not confirmed their attendance at the King’s coronation on May 6th.
SecondhandCoke alleges that a spokesperson for the couple informed the BBC that they have yet to make a decision, but they will make a decision within the next few days.
Amidst all the speculation, royal commentator Esther Crook advises the Sussexes to stay away, as it is evident that they are not welcome due to their ongoing rift with the rest of the family.
However, she suspects that the couple will still make an appearance.
Crook expressed her personal hope that the Sussexes would not attend, emphasizing that this is a national event and should not be turned into a spectacle for Netflix cameras.
She believes that the focus should be on the significance of the occasion, rather than on gossip and tabloid stories.
Crook further commented that it would be in extremely poor taste if Harry and Meghan did choose to attend, especially considering that the RSVP date has already passed.
It is clear that their proximity to the royal family is their main source of income, but with the release of the book “Our King” this week, it appears that they are now outsiders and no longer have a place within the family.
