Prince Harry is reportedly seeking a personal apology from his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William, before he decides whether to attend the upcoming coronation.
However, it has been reported that both King Charles and Prince William have refused to apologize to Prince Harry.
Sources close to the royal family have revealed that Prince William is furious about how his wife, the Princess of Wales, has been portrayed and targeted by the Sussexes.
He has no intention of apologizing, stating that he remains incandescent about the mistreatment of his wife.
The family feud has caused a significant amount of ill will within the royal family.
Media reports have also suggested that Prince Harry has accused his brother of assaulting him during a confrontation over Meghan Markle’s alleged mistreatment of the royal family.
In addition, Prince Harry claimed in his memoir that Camilla Parker Bowles, the Queen consort, had benefited from his personal sacrifices and public humiliations as the other woman in Prince Charles’s life.
The Sussexes’ explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, where they shared their struggles and criticisms of the royal family, including an alleged racist remark about their son Archie’s skin color, further strained relations within the family.
As a result of this ongoing family feud, it remains uncertain whether Prince Harry will attend the coronation.
In an interview with ITV in January, Prince Harry stated that the door is always open, but the ball is in their court.
The outcome of the discussions with his father and brother will play a significant role in determining his attendance.
Royal author Tom Bauer has warned against Prince Harry’s presence at the event, suggesting that it would overshadow the coronation and portray the king as weak.
On the other hand, author Christopher Anderson has proposed that Prince Harry and Meghan may choose to opt out of the coronation due to security concerns and potential backlash.
Despite the controversies surrounding them, Prince Harry, as a member of the royal family, still holds an open invitation to all their events.
However, it has been revealed that the couple has not yet received an invitation and cannot make a decision until then, according to their biographer, Oman Scobie.
The question remains: Will Prince Harry attend the coronation despite the ongoing feud with his father and brother?
The answer to this will only be known once the royal family addresses the issues raised by Prince Harry and Meghan and whether they can reconcile before the coronation.
In the meantime, we can only speculate and wait to see how things unfold.
