Prince Harry was seen grinning as he hurried through Heathrow Airport just an hour after his father, King Charles, was coronated.
According to page six, the royal made a quick return to California to celebrate his son Archie’s fourth birthday, which coincided with the coronation.
Inside Westminster Abbey, the Duke of Sussex informed Jack Brooksbank that he would be leaving, mentioning the airport and the time, 3.45pm.
A lip reader confirmed this to Hello magazine.
Subsequently, Harry’s car was spotted leaving London and heading towards Heathrow Airport.
During the coronation ceremony, Harry took a seat in the third row, two rows behind his brother, the Prince of Wales.
Adorned with medals on his suit jacket, he engaged in conversation with his cousin Princess Beatrice and her husband, Dardo Mapel Mosey, as they entered Westminster Abbey amidst drizzling rain.
As he walked down the nave of the Abbey, Harry nodded and smiled at other guests.
It is worth noting that he complied with the dress code, wearing a dark morning suit and tie.
However, Harry holds the title of knight commander of the Royal Victorian Order, bestowed upon him by the late Queen in 2015.
Buckingham Palace had previously confirmed that Harry and his uncle, the Duke of York, would not have any formal role in the coronation.
This event marked the first time Harry appeared in public alongside his relatives since the release of his memoir, in which he criticized Charles, the Queen, William, and the Princess of Wales.
Notably, during the late Queen’s funeral last September, Harry sat in the second row at Westminster Abbey, positioned behind his father.
The attention of onlookers was focused on Harry during the coronation, observing his interactions with the royal family.
Meanwhile, he has been residing in Montecito, California with his children, Archie and Lily.
The question arises: Did Meghan call Harry to retreat from the coronation due to the failure of her coronation plot?
