Prince Harry will reportedly attend the coronation of the King in London on May 6th without Meghan Markle, according to Palace Insider Paul Burrell.

The couple had previously confirmed receiving an invitation but had not made a decision regarding their attendance.

A spokesperson stated that the immediate decision would not be disclosed at this time.

If the couple were to attend, it would be incredibly uncomfortable for them, especially Meghan, given the string of negative comments they have made over the past few months.

Mr. Burrell suggested that Meghan may not have the bravery or strength to face the family she has criticized.

He also mentioned that Meghan had reportedly told Harry that she would not be able to accompany him to the event.

The event would also be difficult for Harry as he would have to see Camilla, the Queen Consort, whom he and his brother William had previously begged their father, Charles, not to marry.

However, they welcomed her into the family with no hard feelings as the marriage went ahead.

Mr. Burrell further suggested that the Sussexes should stay in America after turning their backs on the royal family.

Interestingly, the coronation falls on their son Archie’s fourth birthday, which could serve as a perfect excuse for Meghan to not make an appearance.

Royal expert Charles Ray speculated that Meghan might choose to stay behind and celebrate with their son.

Harry and Meghan had previously attended the late Queen’s funeral in London on September 19th, which was their last trip to the UK.

The death of Harry’s grandmother led them to extend their visit, originally planned for work events.

It has now been three years since the couple stepped down as senior royals and began their non-royal life in the U.S., where they currently reside with their children, Archie and Lilibet.

The absence of Meghan Markle from the King’s coronation raises questions about whether it will cause more tension with the royal family.
