Oh, Prince Harry, what have you done now?
The Duke of Sussex’s recent attendance at the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Los Angeles has caused quite a stir, leading to mockery and shoe-related controversies.
Last week, Harry was honored with the title of a Living Legend of Aviation, presented to him by none other than actor John Travolta, who famously danced with Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.
However, it was not this prestigious recognition that caught the attention of social media users, but rather a peculiar photo featuring Harry alongside Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and his partner, Lauren Sanchez.
The focus of the photo was not on the glitz and glamour of the event, but rather on Harry’s seemingly exaggerated height.
Despite John Travolta being officially listed as one inch taller than Harry, the picture gave the impression that Harry was standing on stilts.
The term “High heels Harry” quickly trended on Twitter, as users humorously commented on the apparent height difference.
One user wittily remarked, “John Travolta is one inch taller than Harry, but it doesn’t look like it from this photo.
High heels Harry.”
Another questioned whether Harry was wearing heels, pondering how the 6’1 Prince Harry could be towering over the 6’2 John Travolta.
A third individual chimed in, stating, “John Travolta’s approximately 6.1, Harry’s 6’2.
This picture is a little out of whack.”
However, beyond the shoe-related banter, the incident shed light on Harry’s relentless insecurity and jealousy.
Whether it’s about his hair, height, wives, wealth, rank, pilot qualifications, or even sausages (yes, you read that right), Harry’s envy seems to know no bounds.
With Prince William standing at 6’3, it appears that Harry might be feeling the need to compete and may even invest in taller shoes.
In fact, at the event, Harry’s bodyguards were spotted carrying boxes labeled “Fragile” with a “Handle With Care” warning.
These boxes contained none other than Harry’s high-heeled footwear.
The shoes in question were from the Costoso Italiano brand, renowned for its height-increasing designs.
Interestingly, the owner of Costoso Italiano, Misato Italiano Manufacturing Private Limited, is reportedly furious.
After the photo of Harry wearing their height-increasing tan leather Sedara Brog wingtip Oxfords went viral, sales of the shoes plummeted by a staggering 50%.
Harry unintentionally turned the brand into a laughingstock.
Suddenly, the world saw him as the least qualified aviator on stage, making a spectacle of himself with his stacked shoes.
One can’t help but wonder who exactly Harry was trying to impress.
It’s no secret that those close to him know he’s not being genuine.
Perhaps he has been influenced by Meghan’s constant need for validation and attention.
One thing is clear, though.
Despite snagging a photo opportunity with three celebrity millionaires, Harry failed to establish genuine connections with them.
Now, it’s not just Meghan’s ear that might receive a boxing; it’s Harry’s ego.
So, here’s a message for Harry: next time, just be yourself.
There’s no need to hide your insecurities in elevated shoes.
After all, real legends don’t rely on gimmicks.
