Prince Harry’s decision to attend King Charles’ coronation on May 6th has ignited a fierce debate, with critics accusing him of attempting to destroy the Roar family.
While his wife, Meghan Markle, remains in Montecito with their children, Lilibet and Archie, Harry’s attendance has drawn the ire of GB News host Dan Wooten, who believes that Charles should not have invited the U.S.-based royal.
During a recent segment called “The Clash,” Wooten engaged in a fiery discussion with broadcaster Joanna Juak and royal expert Ingrid Seward.
Wooten expressed his frustration, stating, “This bloke has sold out his own family, has reported private conversations with his dad moments after his father’s funeral.
I’m highly critical about the fact that Harry is going to show up and try to play happy families, having tried to destroy the Roar family in the past 7 months.”
In response, Juak questioned the focus on Meghan rather than Harry, asking, “What is it that’s on the front of every newspaper?
What is it that we’re talking about right now?
We’re talking about Meghan because all the attention is based on Meghan.
Most of the criticism is based on Meghan.
You can’t say, ‘Oh, Harry, don’t come, don’t come.’
But now, why aren’t we focusing on the person who’s going to come and probably going to take the most attention from the royals?”
Buckingham Palace recently confirmed that Prince Harry will indeed attend the coronation service at Westminster Abbey.
This will be his first royal appearance since the release of his memoir, “Spare.”
In the book, Harry made controversial claims, describing Camilla, the Queen Consort, as dangerous and suggesting that his father, Charles, was ill-prepared for parenthood.
A source close to Charles expressed his distress and anger over Harry’s public revelations, stating, “He’s angry and outraged that Harry’s aired so many embarrassing and damaging assertions, and it’s put him in a terrible position with Camilla.”
The situation has also sparked debate among experts, with author Andrew Lowney suggesting that Harry should be excluded from the coronation celebrations.
Lowney believes that Harry is a lost cause and that cutting ties with him would be the best course of action, as their brand has already suffered damage.
Lowney further added that the couple’s behavior, as well as the negative impact of “Spare,” may have damaged their public image in Britain.
As opinions continue to diverge on Prince Harry’s attendance at the coronation, the public remains divided.
