The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, were recently spotted on a ski break in Courchevel, France with their three young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Twitter and Instagram users shared sightings of the royal family on the slopes and enjoying meals at restaurants in the luxury French resort.
In addition, it is rumored that Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, joined them on their winter getaway.
Although the Cambridges’ schedule is usually packed with royal duties, it is not surprising that they managed to find time for a family vacation.
Their last public appearance was on March 29th when they attended Prince Philip’s service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.
Since then, the couple has taken a break from their official responsibilities, following their week-long tour of the Caribbean.
With George, 8, and Charlotte, 6, currently on their school holidays from Thomas’s Battersea, and Louis, 3, enjoying a break from Wilcox Nursery School, this was the perfect opportunity for the children to learn how to ski.
Not only is skiing a beloved hobby of their parents, but the young royals also had their first taste of playing in the snow during a previous visit to Courchevel in 2016.
Official portraits released by the palace showcased the family posing against snowy backdrops, capturing the joy and excitement of their first snowy holiday together.
During their stay, the Cambridges chartered the private jet of the Duke of Westminster for their journey to Courchevel.
This is not the first time William and Kate have visited the renowned ski destination.
As avid skiers, they have frequented Courchevel on multiple occasions, even before their marriage.
The adjoining Meribel Resort has also been a favorite skiing spot for the couple.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are known for their love of outdoor activities and often prioritize spending quality time with their children.
This ski trip serves as a testament to their commitment to creating memorable experiences for their family.
As the children continue to grow, it is likely that they will embrace skiing as a cherished family tradition.
