Prince William made a triumphant return to his royal duties following his wife Kate Middleton’s recent health scare that led to her hospitalization and surgery.
The Duke of Cambridge had postponed his engagements to be by her side during her recovery, but now he is back in action.
Today, he hosted an investiture at Windsor Castle and attended a gala dinner for London’s Air Ambulance Charity.
One of the highlights of the investiture ceremony was when Patricia Sprouse, a dedicated NHS worker who was awarded an MBE, shared her experience of meeting Prince Charles and discussing Kate’s healthcare.
Sprouse took to her LinkedIn to express her awe and gratitude, describing the castle as breathtaking and everyone present as lovely.
During their conversation, Prince William revealed that Kate had been under the care of two Filipino nurses who provided amazing and kind support.
This insight into Kate’s healthcare was the first time the public had a glimpse into the specifics of her medical treatment.
It was disclosed that Kate had spent two weeks recovering from stomach surgery and has now returned home to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.
In a statement released by Kensington Palace, the royal couple expressed their gratitude to the medical team at the London Clinic, especially the nursing staff, for their exceptional care.
The Wells family, including Prince William and Kate, also extended their thanks for the overwhelming support and well-wishes they received from people worldwide.
When asked about the public’s outpouring of support in light of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis and Kate’s hospitalization, Prince William humbly acknowledged the kindness and messages of support.
