Prince William has expressed his support for his stepbrother, Tom Parker Bowles, who recently spoke out against Prince Harry’s criticism of Queen Camilla.

Commentator Kinsley Schofield stated that Parker Bowles defended his mother’s relationship with King Charles, denying any ulterior motives in their romance.

Charles and Camilla famously rekindled their love while still married to other people, leading to the breakdown of their first marriages.

Prince Harry accused his stepmother of playing a role in his parents’ divorce in 1996, portraying her as a villain.

However, Schofield claimed that Prince William is also limited in his ability to speak out due to the longstanding tradition of the royal family.

Parker Bowles, who is not a member of the royal family, felt compelled to defend his mother and challenge Prince Harry’s allegations.

He emphasized that Camilla did not pursue a strategy but rather married the man she had long been in love with.

In an interview with Sky News Australia, Parker Bowles revealed that Camilla’s great-grandmother, Alice Keppel, was once the mistress of a king.

He stated that Camilla never expected to become the Queen Consort and did not have any grand ambitions in that regard.

In his memoir “Spare,” Prince Harry claimed that both he and Prince William pleaded with their father not to marry Camilla in 2005.

He also alleged that Charles and Camilla, along with their spin doctor, deliberately leaked stories about his drug use to improve their public image.

Prince Harry further criticized their PR strategy, accusing them of exploiting any opportunity to gain public sympathy.

On the other hand, Prince Charles reportedly demanded that the royal family adopt a clear strategy to handle Prince Harry after his departure from royal duties.

Robert Jobson, in his book “Our King, Charles the Man and the Monarch,” revealed that Prince William had concerns about the couple’s lack of discretion.

It remains to be seen how Prince William will handle Prince Harry’s behavior during the King’s coronation.

Additionally, there is speculation about whether Camilla’s children will play significant roles in the ceremony.
