Princess Anne has emerged as a potential replacement for Prince Harry, sparking excitement among royal enthusiasts.

Now, reports suggest that the Princess Royal, aged 71, may assume all of his previous positions and roles within the royal family.

During the episode, he suggested that King Charles paid tribute to Princess Anne for her unwavering service to both the Queen and the Firm.

Princess Anne’s importance was further highlighted when she was chosen to accompany her mother’s coffin on its journey from Balmoral Castle to Edinburgh and then to London.

Despite being 16th in line to the throne, Princess Anne has never been closer to the crown.

This potential shake-up could result in Princess Anne being promoted to a crucial role, filling in for Charles if he is unable to fulfill his official duties.

Currently, Princess Anne is not a Counsellor of State due to the traditional rule that male heirs have priority over females in the line of succession.

Prince Edward is also too far down the order to be considered.

However, if the law were amended to specify that only working royals could hold the position, both siblings could potentially be elevated.
